While Trump may turn out a mere flash in the pan, I’m afraid that “Ol’ Hillary”* will start nuking Iran

If one isn’t being merely glib and dismissive and thinks about it without any bias or prejudice for either candidate (which most Clinton supporters probably cannot claim), there’ a high probability it’s actually true that Sanders is the better candidate. It’s mostly only die hard party hacks that are unequivocally supportive of Hillary. In the Democratic party’s recent primaries Bernie received a similar or even a higher % of votes that indicates a similar level of support. AND a lot of concerned Democrats worry that with Hillary’s record breaking negative poll values and possible pending legal problems that she might be the one candidate that COULD fail to beat Trump. Not to mention her tainted track record in which she’s been on the wrong side of history on every major issue she’s voted on. MAYBE the REAL “stupidest move in history” would BE actually nominating Clinton to run against Trump. Yes, it WOULD be best for Democrats to “wake up and smell the bullshit” and nominate Sanders. All this rhetoric about keeping party unity COULD be applied to Hillary as well, as Bernie. What has SHE done, name ANYTHING, to accomplish that? No, that is, not unless SHE is the presumptive nominee. Otherwise, it’s attack, attack. Where’s HER party unity? Her blind ambition does exactly that, it blinds her (and seemingly, her supporters) from any realization of party unity. Unless united behind Hillary, of course.

MESSAGE TO ALL DEMOCRATS – REMEMBER WHAT WE ONCE WERE

Please stop living in the past and fearing a Republican party that is now justly reaping the rewards of its long time embrace of hateful rhetoric. This is the time to end the further erosion of progressive vales as a political expedience and finally wrest control of the political process from deadly neo-conservatism and an opposition which is now falling apart in shambling disarray. STOP FEARING LIBERALISM, EMBRACE IT. Stand up for liberal values and GET BACK TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY’S PROGRESSIVE ROOTS. It’s time to forget about McGovern in ’72. It’s time for the Democratic Party to resume its original path and end this cowardly shameful turn toward the present fearful conservative right of center apologetics. Progressive Democrats please unite just as, in the depth of the depression, those brave workers did against corporate anti unions goons, heroes all, many of whom paid the ultimate price. Yes, unite, but not around Hilary, as she shares none of your values, she’s neither a progressive nor a liberal. I know, I’m from Arkansas and remember when she was an active Goldwater Republican until she hitched her star to a rising political hack named Bill. She never tore off the shackles of the right wing hawkish political leanings developed and nurtured during her primary political mentorship as a Goldwater volunteer. Today, however, even Goldwater himself would disavow himself of her and her shift from his libertarian brand of conservatism, in preference to an unembarrassed entrancement of neo-conservatism and their Wall Street moneyed corporate values.

At least Obama made fleeting references to progressive values in his rhetoric before inevitably swallowing the blue pill and washed it down with Wall Street money. Literally betraying his most ardent supporters and cowardly selling liberalism out for the tarnished silver of post Citizens United unfettered filthy lucre. Bernie Sanders’ truthiness and energy has captured the public’s imagination and exposed a new generation to a message of real old style progressive long abandoned by a “practical” democratic party fearful of its own raison d’etre, losing touch with it’s very roots as a liberal populist movement. This might be the hoped for opportunity of tried and true old style progressive liberal Democrats to wrest n the party from the greedy self-serving hands of sellouts like the Clintons. As Luke did in Star Wars, “TRUST YOUR FEELINGS”, you know it’s right. This might be the turning point in American politics, a precious chance to finally end this deleterious slide from liberalism through moderation and to the right wing and bring about a new golden time for progressivism, a renaissance of liberal values not seen since the heady days of Martin Luther King a, and the 60’s. Let’s not spoil this fighting chance to restore our values out of “ballot conservatism” and the fear that progressivism is dead in the US. This is probably the best chance in American history for progressive liberalism to come out on top. Our best shot EVER to finally have a truly progressive gov’t in America.

Hilary supporters so long fearfully lost in obsolete political strategies, do not surrender your values, reacquire and embrace with loving reunion your progressive liberalism It’s TIME! FEEL THE BERN You can forget the tired lesson of that one time 1972 failure and quake in the fear that a true liberal is FOREVER un-electable. Now is the time to throw off your chains of political correctness – with this terrible Republican lineup they have no real chance of pulling their act together, it’s our best chance to put liberal in the White House, maybe even sweep the congress, delivering the death stroke to the scourge of Reaganism and putting our country back on the path envisioned by Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy.
